November 10th, 2009 In All Your Getting, Get Wisdom and Get Understanding
From shore to shore; east and west; north and south; one thing is for sure, we are living in perilous times today. We are bombarded daily with the news of senseless murders, armed robberies, deadly viruses, food shortages, record high unemployment, and the increasing number of people who are becoming homeless with no where to turn.
Restless youths finding acceptance in street gangs that terrorize neighborhoods with violence and drug dealing. Children filled with anger and rage because they have been abandon by their parents, left to survive on their own. And many adults, both young and old have chosen to follow a path of drug addiction and lawlessness. Is there a God; if so, does he even care? Who is God anyway?
