November 15th, 2009 There Is One God, and One Mediator That Stand Between God and Men: Jesus Christ
It is the precious blood of Jesus Christ that has atoned for all of our sins. He bought and paid for the sins of the world with His blood that was shed on the cross. He arose on the third day from the grave for our justification, and He is now a faithful high priest that sits on the right hand of the throne of Jehovah God interceding on our behalf day and night (Hebrews 4:14-16).
We now have a faithful and merciful high priest in heaven that offers intercessory prayers for all of Jehovah’s people–”Jesus Christ”. He, and He alone mediates between Jehovah and man with prayers and requests on our behalf (Hebrews 7:25). In fact, it is only through Jesus Christ that salvation has come to mankind. Jesus is the author of our salvation, and there is no other name under heaven by which men can be saved (Acts 4:12).
