December 8th, 2009 Jesus Christ: The Precious Lamb Of Jehovah (Yahweh) God
Several thousand years before Jesus Christ came into the world a prophecy about His coming had already taken place (Genesis 3:15). Many prophets spoke about the coming of the messiah (anointed one) as they were given utterance by the Holy Spirit. Moses (Genesis 3:15; Deuteronomy 18:15,18), King David (Psalms 2, 16, 22, 110), Isaiah (Isaiah 7:14; 9:6-7; 11; 42:1-4; 52:13-15; 53; 61:1-3), Jeremiah (Jeremiah 23:5,6), and Micah (Micah 5:2) spoke about the coming of the messiah.
Jehovah (Yahweh) prophets would make passionate proclamations about the coming of the messiah and the work He was going to do. They were forerunners under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, speaking about future events that were to take place many, many years later. Read “The Lamb Of Jehovah God”
