February 6th, 2010 Stop “Wallowing In The Mire.” Now Get Up! Return To Christ Jesus
We cannot afford to live our life as if we do not belong to Jesus Christ, if in fact we do. We cannot afford to turn back after being “born again,” and receiving the precious gift of the “Holy Spirit”. And we cannot afford to grieve the “Holy Spirit” to the point of departure by living our life in such an ungodly manner.
That is why we must stop our madness and return to the one who has saved us from our sins through His death on the cross. Jesus is love (Ephesians 2:4,5) and He is still extending a warm and loving hand to fallen Christians who have become entrapped in their ungodly living, and taken captive by Satan all over again (Luke 11:24-26).
Living your life straddling the fence is a very dangerous way to live. You are putting your soul in jeopardy of eternal damnation! Jesus said, “To the church in Loadicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation. I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.
You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see (Revelation 3:15-18).Read: Stop “Wallowing In The Mire.” Now Get Up!
