Once a beacon in the night that stood for justice, fairness, honor, and dignity for all, the United States of America has become a visible cesspool of hatred, indignity, mental and psychological sickness that permeates every sector of society. It once claimed to be a righteous nation that trusted in God, but now has become a den of murderers, perverts, devil worshipers, and every foul thing you can think of. Many countries around the world that believed in the United States are grappling with the new reality of a fail state that has lost its compass and is heading down a deep and dark path of no return.

Democracy was the main tenet that the United States was founded on, and freedoms that had been denied others around the world was the reason people left where they were to travel thousands of miles to live in a land where they could breathe without fear of retribution from their government and official leaders. This country stood for fairness for all men and women (except for slaves/black and people of color) who were tired of being oppressed and tormented because of their beliefs and practices. In all my years of living in the United States of America, I never imagined that one day I would see the Capitol building in Washington, D.C. attacked and destroyed by citizens of the United States. People who traveled from all over the country came to Washington on January 6, 2021 under the direction of former President, Donald Trump, to interrupt the congressional certification of newly elected president, Joe Biden. For quite some time many of these zealots had planned and coordinated their efforts to besiege the capitol and even kidnap and kill some of the congress women and men who they deemed their enemies. Human rights have never been an issue that African Americans could take solace in; instead, laws were enacted by lawmakers to ensure that African Americans had no rights that White people should acknowledge or respect. Over the years many African Americans have sadly come to the conclusion that even some animals have more rights than they do; and still to this very day it is apparent that when it comes to civil rights some animals are given more protection under the law than African Americans and other people of color. In my opinion, it is a shame and a disgrace that African Americans are treated in a vile and dastardly way that brings on hardship and suffering for so many.

Thousands of African Americans, both men and women, have been hanged and shot to death for no reason at all except for their race and the color of their skin. All across the United States tens of thousands of people have been murdered and killed by individuals, lynch mobs, and even police officers who were supposed to be responsible for protecting lives. However, when it comes to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, it does not apply to certain elements of the society. White Americans enjoy all the rights and liberties this society has to offer, while Black people are constantly oppressed and repressed with no recourse whatsoever. When Jesus Christ began His ministry here on earth (He came down from heaven) He was opposed and rejected by most of the Jewish leaders and rabbis of that time…as well as today. He was viewed as a fake and a fraud who lied about His credentials and His true identity. He was hated by many and despised by His own family members. Although He preached the truth and walked humbly before all; nevertheless, He was attacked both verbally and physically by His own countrymen. All He ever wanted to do is to show the people the way unto salvation and redemption, and yet they hated Him without a cause (Genesis 26:57-68).

Although Jesus was a Jew, He was hated and tormented by the Jews because He taught the truth and lived by it. The Jewish leaders sought to discredit him and kill him by the hand of Pilate, the governor of Judea, at that time. Pilate saw no reason for Jesus to be put to death, but the Jewish leaders and rabbis insisted that Pilate have him crucified on the cross. Finally, Pilate gave in and had Jesus crucified on the cross, but through the power of God, Jesus rose from the grave and is now at the right hand of God interceding on our behalf (Matthew 27:11-44).
