Once a beacon in the night that stood for justice, fairness, honor, and dignity for all, the United States of America has become a visible cesspool of hatred, indignity, mental and psychological sickness that permeates every sector of society. It once claimed to be a righteous nation that trusted in God, but now has become a den of murderers, perverts, devil worshipers, and every foul thing you can think of. Many countries around the world that believed in the United States are grappling with the new reality of a fail state that has lost its compass and is heading down a deep and dark path of no return.

Democracy was the main tenet that the United States was founded on, and freedoms that had been denied others around the world was the reason people left where they were to travel thousands of miles to live in a land where they could breathe without fear of retribution from their government and official leaders. This country stood for fairness for all men and women (except for slaves/black and people of color) who were tired of being oppressed and tormented because of their beliefs and practices. Now, that democracy is being challenge and attacked by politicians (Democrats, Republicans, Independents) and leaders in top positions throughout the country, the United States have begun to buckle under the pressing weight of descenion and discord of a rapidly growing number of citizens who for their own personal gain are raging a war against those who they oppose and despise-the country is coming apart at the seams and has become a spectacle for the whole world to see. For a while all worshiped God and were obedient to His word and will; however, over the course of time, one high ranking cherub (angels have rank: cherubs, serapes, and the rest of the angels or soldiers of Jehovah God) Lucifer, (later, after his rebellion his name became Satan, which means resistor, or adversary of God) became proud and arrogant and sought to be worshiped as God. When Jesus Christ began His ministry here on earth (He came down from heaven) He was opposed and rejected by most of the Jewish leaders and rabbis of that time…as well as today. He was viewed as a fake and a fraud who lied about His credentials and His true identity. He was hated by many and despised by His own family members. Although He preached the truth and walked humbly before all; nevertheless, He was attacked both verbally and physically by His own countrymen. All He ever wanted to do is to show the people the way unto salvation and redemption, and yet they hated Him without a cause (Genesis 26:57-68).

Although Jesus was a Jew, He was hated and tormented by the Jews because He taught the truth and lived by it. The Jewish leaders sought to discredit him and kill him by the hand of Pilate, the governor of Judea, at that time. Pilate saw no reason for Jesus to be put to death, but the Jewish leaders and rabbis insisted that Pilate have him crucified on the cross. Finally, Pilate gave in and had Jesus crucified on the cross, but through the power of God, Jesus rose from the grave and is now at the right hand of God interceding on our behalf (Matthew 27:11-44). There’s an old gospel hymn lyrics which says, “what a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and grief to bear…”. In a world filled with so much deception, deceit, and dishonesty, it is a blessing to know that we have a friend that is totally the opposite. Even in families, or should I say, especially in families, there are problems between family members that have created deep seated resentment that have lead to verbal and physical fights that all too often end in tragedy. From one end of the globe to the other there have been a noticeable breakdown in families that have lead to all kinds of societal ills. Why is this? Is there an explanation for all this?
