How many times have we become so angry with God that we felt like we were about to explode? And how many times we have verbally assaulted God because we felt our prayers weren’t answered or completely ignored? It is not uncommon for people to feel disappointment or out and out rejection because of our situation and the things that are affecting our lives and/or lives of our love ones.

Time and time again many of us have lashed out at God because of circumstances we often find ourselves in. As long as we are experiencing prosperity and enjoying safe refuge we are at peace with the world around us including God, but as soon as disaster comes knocking at our door we are so quick to curse God and denounce all that He is and has ever been. JEHOVAH GOD’S HOLY SPIRIT: YESTERDAY AND TODAY

Long before the creation of mankind; long before the creation of heaven and earth and the seas, the Holy Spirit existed. In fact, it has never not existed, if you will. It is part of the Godhead: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit emanates from God the Father and is in total union with the Father and the Son. Although it is always in complete agreement with the Father and the Son, it is an entity in and of itself just like the Son–Jesus Christ (John 14:6-21).

The Holy Spirit has many attributes and qualities that has proven to be conflicting for some. For instance, it has power that in many cases has imbued some of God’s servants in both the old and new testament to accomplish feats that would have been impossible for humans to duplicate (Exodus 31:1-11; Matthew 1:18). Before the death and resurrection of Jesus the Holy Spirit would come upon God’s servants and enable them with the power to accomplish a task, but after Jesus’ death and resurrection and ascension back into heaven (from whence he came) the Holy Spirit would make His dwelling within the servants of Jehovah (Yahweh) God (John 14:25; 16:5-16).

As Christians and disciples of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ we have been blessed with the added assurance of the Holy Spirit dwelling within us as well as guiding us and instructing us what to do and say; when to do; how to do, and where to do what God Almighty has given us to do (Acts4:8; 8:26; 13:1-11).

The Holy Spirit is the free gift (Acts 8:9-24) that Jehovah God gives to His servants, and only His servants (not the world) who are devoted disciples of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Today, the Holy Spirit which is known by several names: Spirit of Christ; the Comforter; God’s Spirit; Spirit of the Lord; Counselor, and Spirit of truth is just as active in true believers and true worshipers since the day of Pentecost. Servants of God are not left without the promise that Jesus made to his disciples concerning the indwelling of the Holy Spirit (John 12:15-21; Luke 24:49,50).

Regardless of what many will say and have said negatively concerning the Holy Spirit–the truth has already been spoken by Jesus Christ concerning the Holy Spirit, and it is the truth that will set you free (John 8:31,32). Satan the devil, the arch enemy of the Godhead (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) vehemently attacks the word of God to discredit it in every possible way that he can, and with the intentions of eventually destroying it entirely. Morning star, Lucifer, Satan, Beelzebub, Bapthomet, Mo lech, Marduk, Rain Man, Ella, and Sin are just a few of the names that Satan goes by or have gone by. The list is almost endless, easily reaching over several million that are known and recognized. He is the master at changing his identity; always evolving and ever changing to acquire new followers as time passes on. But make no mistake about it, every false god or goddess that is or have ever been worshiped around the world at some point or another leads back to one source: Satan the devil.

When the Israelites were led out of Egypt where they had been in bondaged for four hundred years, they were to settle in a new land–the land of Canaan. Moses was their leader and he was under the direction and guidance of the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob; patriarchs of the Israelites. Because of Abraham’s love and devotion to his God (Yahweh, transliterated Jehovah) Yahweh promised to bless his descendants and be their God as well as he had been Abraham’s God (Genesis 15:1-21;17:1-27).

“When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord, and because of these detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you. You must be blameless before the Lord your God” (Deuteronomy 18:9-13).

The Israelites were to become a “Nation of Priests” and teach all the people of the world about their God and His statues, commandments, precepts and how to worship Yahweh (Jehovah) in an acceptable way that would be pleasing to Him (Exodus 19:3-6). They were not to practice any of the despicable ways of the nations Yahweh was going to drive out of the land (Canaan) He was preparing to give to the Israelites. They were to be a “Holy Nation” and steadfastly remain pure and free of the detestable practices of the people who He was about to dispossess in the land (Canaan) He was giving to the Israelites (Deuteronomy 7:1-16).

A Tree and Its Fruit: Watching The Things We Do As Christians

When you think of false prophets you might not think of yourself, but after receiving Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and confessing Him publicly only to turn around and follow Satan (devil); you do no less. False prophets claim to belong to Jesus Christ and they continually confess Him as their Lord and Saviour vigorously.

However, their actions prove false to the claims they make. Jesus said, “Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth” (Matthew 5:5). Arrogance, haughtiness, pride, and insolence are just a few of the characteristics of a false prophet. Jesus went on to say, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God,” (Matthew 5:9).

As Christians we cannot rage and rant at others and expect not to bring reproach on our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Christians are earthly representatives of Christ and when we give in to the desires of the flesh we bring reproach on Jehovah God our creator and our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who died on the cross for the remissions of our sins (Romans 5: 8-11).

Apostle Paul stated, “In your anger do not sin”; Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold (Ephesians 4:26). In order for us to be pleasing to Jehovah God and our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ we must become ‘peacemakers’. We cannot afford to allow our anger to run wild (Proverbs 29:11), “for a man’s anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires according to James, the author of the book of James in the “Holy Bible” (James 1:20). Jesus Christ Is Still Calling Out To A Dying World–2010

It’s now been over two thousand years since Jesus Christ walked the roads from Galilee to Jerusalem and from Nazareth to Bethany, and many other points between and beyond. He was driven to get the word out that He had been sent into the world by His Father (Yahweh/Jehovah God) to deliver the people from bondage (Satanic enslavement) and to show them the way unto salvation and the kingdom of God (Isaiah 61:1-2).

Today the word of God (Jehovah) still resonates around the world from Canada to Costa Rica; from China to the United States and everywhere else the gospel of Jesus Christ is preached throughout the earth and its message is the same as it was over two thousand years ago: “Repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand” (Matthew 4:17),” …and receive salvation” (Luke 1: 77). Jesus Christ disciples have been instructed by Him to preach the gospel around the world, and set free the captives who are held in bondage by Satan the devil (Matthew 28: 18-20). When a child is conceived no one understands how he/she is formed in the womb. No one. There are very intelligent men who have sought to find out how a baby is formed in the womb and no one fully understands to this day. No one has been able to explain what all take place in the development of a fetus. It is simply amazing and truly unknowable how we are created, but it is no mystery about who created us.

“Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over earth, and over all the creatures that move along the grounds’ ” (Genesis 1:26). If you believe in the “Holy Scriptures” then it is no doubt in your mind that God created man in his own image and likeness.

Jesus Is Love: The Only True Saviour For A Dying World

Imagine a modern day sea vessel that is part rusted, corroded in spots; old peeling paint; microscopic cracks in many places, and a few large cracks in others. Imagine if you will a ship with an unsound keel, busted rudders; an anchor hooked on a broken chain; a propeller with missing blades; a bow that has been damaged from salt waters; a deck that is unstable and incapable of sustaining weight for any period of time, and a stern that looks as if it might brake off at any given moment.

Can you imagine yourself sailing across the open seas on an unstable and a totally unreliable vessel as this? A trip on a vessel like this would be a nightmare to say the least! But my friend that’s what many of us Christians really are—an unworthy and unreliable vessel that cannot be trusted to carry any cargo—especially the most sacred cargo of all—the “Word Of God” (John 1;1).

We are living in a dying world (1Corinthians 7:31) and it is Jehovah God desire that all men be saved. That is why He sent His only begotten Son—Jesus Christ into the world to save sinners. Jesus commanded His Apostles and disciples to go forth throughout the world making disciples from all nations, baptizing them in the name of Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that He had commanded His disciples to do (Matthew 28:18-20).

Jesus said to Ananias (speaking about Saul who was also named Paul), “Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel” (Acts 9:15). Modern day Christians are no less of a vessel as Apostle Paul and all the other disciples of Christ at that time (inception of Christianity).

We are not spectators who read the scriptures and marvel at the perseverance and dedication of followers of Christ in biblical times; instead, we are commanded by Jesus to carry the gospel throughout the world teaching and preaching about salvation and repentance in the name of His son Jesus Christ Read “Jesus Is Love”

Marriage is sacred and it was hallowed by Jehovah God Himself. It is through this arrangement that husband and wife share with one another; support one another, and rear their offspring together in a loving and caring environment. It was meant to be a life long union that could only be broken by death of one of the spouses.

Marriage was created by God to bring the man and the woman together in a way that would compliment each other. In other words, males and females were made differently but their differences would actually make them stronger and enable them to accomplish more if they were united as one in “Holy matrimony”. The differences should be celebrated as oppose to being a reason for discord, dissent, and petty bickering.

Jesus said, “Haven’t you read that at the beginning the creator made them male and female, and said, ‘for this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’. So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore, what God has joined together, let man not separate”(Matthew 19:4-6).

It is God’s will that marriages last a life time without the possibility of separation and that children be raised in a loving union with both father and mother. Read “Is Sex Wrong”?

Stop “Wallowing In The Mire.” Now Get Up! Return To Christ Jesus

We cannot afford to live our life as if we do not belong to Jesus Christ, if in fact we do. We cannot afford to turn back after being “born again,” and receiving the precious gift of the “Holy Spirit”. And we cannot afford to grieve the “Holy Spirit” to the point of departure by living our life in such an ungodly manner.

That is why we must stop our madness and return to the one who has saved us from our sins through His death on the cross. Jesus is love (Ephesians 2:4,5) and He is still extending a warm and loving hand to fallen Christians who have become entrapped in their ungodly living, and taken captive by Satan all over again (Luke 11:24-26).

Living your life straddling the fence is a very dangerous way to live. You are putting your soul in jeopardy of eternal damnation! Jesus said, “To the church in Loadicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation. I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.

You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. “Friend, Wherefore Art Thou Come”? When We Betray Jesus, Our Only True Friend

“While He (Jesus) was still speaking, Judas one of the Twelve (Apostles) arrived. With him was a large crowd armed with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests and the elders of the people. Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: ‘The one I kiss is the man; arrest him’. Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, ‘Greetings, Rabbi!’ and kissed him” (Matthew 26:47-49).

Many of us are quick to point out the betrayal of Jesus Christ by one of His apostles, Judas Iscariot, and how wicked and despicable it was. Throughout the world and especially over in the middle east, one of the worst things a man can do is betray someone that has befriended (eaten and fellowshipped together) him. It is considered by many as the ultimate act of deceit and deception.

Upon receiving Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, it was, and is, imperative that we put on the whole ‘Armour of God’ (Ephesians 6:10-18): “Stand firm then, with the truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
