However, their actions prove false to the claims they make. Jesus said, “Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth” (Matthew 5:5). Arrogance, haughtiness, pride, and insolence are just a few of the characteristics of a false prophet. Jesus went on to say, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God,” (Matthew 5:9).

As Christians we cannot rage and rant at others and expect not to bring reproach on our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Christians are earthly representatives of Christ and when we give in to the desires of the flesh we bring reproach on Jehovah God our creator and our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who died on the cross for the remissions of our sins (Romans 5: 8-11).

Apostle Paul stated, “In your anger do not sin”; Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold (Ephesians 4:26). In order for us to be pleasing to Jehovah God and our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ we must become ‘peacemakers’. We cannot afford to allow our anger to run wild (Proverbs 29:11), “for a man’s anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires according to James, the author of the book of James in the “Holy Bible” (James 1:20). In many parts of the world Christianity as a religion is banned, and professing Christians are persecuted, and in many instances publicly put to death to frighten would be worshipers from accepting Christianity as their religion. Many governments world wide have set manifestos that declare Christianity as an enemy of their nation, and have banned the bible as well as those who would dare to teach it.Read “Soldiers Of Darkness”

Moses (Genesis 3:15; Deuteronomy 18:15,18), King David (Psalms 2, 16, 22, 110), Isaiah (Isaiah 7:14; 9:6-7; 11; 42:1-4; 52:13-15; 53; 61:1-3), Jeremiah (Jeremiah 23:5,6), and Micah (Micah 5:2) spoke about the coming of the messiah. Jehovah’s (Yahweh) prophets would make passionate proclamations about the coming of the messiah and the work He was going to do. “Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over earth, and over all the creatures that move along the grounds’ ” (Genesis 1:26). If you believe in the “Holy Scriptures” then it is no doubt in your mind that God created man in his own image and likeness.

Who could ever forget the fun and enchanting television series “Bewitched” that ran from 1964-1972? What about all those much loved characters like Darrin Stephens (Dick York), Larry Tate (David/Daniel White), Aunt Clara (Marion Lorne), Endora (Agnes Moorehead), Mrs.Kravitts (Alice Pearce) and her husband Abner (George Tobias), and of course the beautiful and delectable Samantha Stephens (Elizabeth Montgomery), the star of the show. Even today the show still has a cult like following around the world. Although it is now in syndication the show continues to pick up new generation followers with the passing of time.

I remember watching and waiting intently to see Samantha twitch her nose and produce some more astounding feats. Before “Bewitched”, I often thought of witches as ugly and gruesome, not beautiful and alluring—except for the good witch of the west—Glenda, who was in one of the most cherished and adored movies of all time, “The Wizard (witchcraft/sorcerer) Of Oz”. Other than those two I always visualized witches as being old and ugly with the ability to do you much harm; they frightened me and were the source of many nightmares in my childhood.

But what does the word of Jehovah God say about witchcraft and those who practice it? How does God Almighty view witches and witchcraft and what instructions, if any, does He give his people concerning this matter? Is it something that Jehovah God approves and should we all be witches and practice witchcraft if He does?

Well, let’s find out through His “Holy Word” just how Jehovah feels about it and what are His instructions to us, if any, and what position are we to take regarding witchcraft?Read “Witchcraft”

Christians who dare to practice their beliefs in such hostile lands are often intimidated, imprisoned, physically beaten, unmercifully tortured, and in too many cases put to death simply because of their beliefs and practices. Many Christians are persecuted day and night without any legal recourse. Thousands have lost all of their worldly possessions including homes and vehicles as well.

It’s not uncommon for Christians to be fired from their jobs without an explanation whatsoever. Some have had their businesses confiscated and illegally taken away from them without a reason. In many places Christians do not have the same protection under the law as their neighbors and fellow countrymen. And it is sad to say that because of such harsh and unfair treatment some Christians give in and give up. Read “Christians Remain Strong Unto The End”

Can you imagine yourself sailing across the open seas on an unstable and a totally unreliable vessel as this? A trip on a vessel like this would be a nightmare to say the least! But my friend that’s what many of us Christians really are—an unworthy and unreliable vessel that cannot be trusted to carry any cargo—especially the most sacred cargo of all—the “Word Of God” (John 1;1).

We are living in a dying world (1Corinthians 7:31) and it is Jehovah God desire that all men be saved. That is why He sent His only begotten Son—Jesus Christ into the world to save sinners. Jesus commanded His Apostles and disciples to go forth throughout the world making disciples from all nations, baptizing them in the name of Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that He had commanded His disciples to do (Matthew 28:18-20).

Jesus said to Ananias (speaking about Saul who was also named Paul), “Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel” (Acts 9:15). Modern day Christians are no less of a vessel as Apostle Paul and all the other disciples of Christ at that time (inception of Christianity).

We are not spectators who read the scriptures and marvel at the perseverance and dedication of followers of Christ in biblical times; instead, we are commanded by Jesus to carry the gospel throughout the world teaching and preaching about salvation and repentance in the name of His son Jesus Christ Read “Jesus Is Love”

Marriage was created by God to bring the man and the woman together in a way that would compliment each other. In other words, males and females were made differently but their differences would actually make them stronger and enable them to accomplish more if they were united as one in “Holy matrimony”. The differences should be celebrated as oppose to being a reason for discord, dissent, and petty bickering.

Jesus said, “Haven’t you read that at the beginning the creator made them male and female, and said, ‘for this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’. So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore, what God has joined together, let man not separate”(Matthew 19:4-6).

It is God’s will that marriages last a life time without the possibility of separation and that children be raised in a loving union with both father and mother. Read “Is Sex Wrong”?

We cannot afford to let our guard down for one moment because Satan is looking for an opportunity to slay us both spiritually and physically…and he will never, ever give up on that mission. His goal is to take us down physically and spiritually and silence us once and for all, and to lead us down the road of eternal damnation where we will be forever shut out from the love of Jehovah God and His Son Jesus Christ.

To avoid such a terrible and frightening outcome you must repent of your sins and receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour today. Jesus is still calling out to the world to save them from their sins. Jesus died on the cross for the remission of our sins—not His. He gave His life up to save mankind from eternal damnation and everlasting destruction by atoning for our sins when He suffered the agonizing death on the cross…and through His stripes (beating) we are healed.
