Jesus Christ: The Precious Lamb OF Jehovah (Yahweh) God

Several thousand years before Jesus Christ came into the world a prophecy about His coming had already taken place (Genesis 3:15). Many prophets spoke about the coming of the messiah (anointed one) as they were given utterance by the Holy Spirit. Moses (Genesis 3:15; Deuteronomy 18:15,18), King David (Psalms 2, 16, 22, 110), Isaiah (Isaiah 7:14; 9:6-7; 11; 42:1-4; 52:13-15; 53; 61:1-3), Jeremiah (Jeremiah 23:5,6), and Micah (Micah 5:2) were just some of God’s prophets that spoke about the coming of the messiah.

Jehovah’s (Yahweh) prophets would make passionate proclamations about the coming of the messiah and the work He was going to do. They were forerunners under the guidance of the “Holy Spirit”, speaking about future events that were to take place many, many years later.

“Then I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne, a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, ‘Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll or look inside’. Then one of the elders said to me, ‘Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals’ (Revelations 5:1-5).

Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing in the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth. He came and took the scroll from the right hand of Him who sat on the throne. And when He had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints (Revelations 5:6-8).

And they sang a new song: ‘You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth’.

Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousands times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. In a loud voice they sang: ‘Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!’

Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing: ‘To Him (Jehovah) who sits on the throne and to the Lamb (Jesus) be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!’ The four living creatures said, ‘Amen’, and the elders fell down and worshiped” (Revelation 5: 1-14).

Jesus Christ, the first born of all creation (Colossians1:15-20), came down from heaven and took on the form of a man to become the “Sacrificial Lamb” whose blood was shed on the cross for the remission of sins for the whole world (John 1:26). Sin is wickedness. Jehovah God hates sin, therefore man has been separated from God because of sin, but Jesus Christ atoned for the sins of the whole world when He shed His blood for us on the cross (Calvary Hill). It is the precious blood of Jesus Christ that washes away sin; the blood of an unblemished Lamb that was without sin.

Jesus, lovingly died for all sinners and it is through His death that we are redeemed and brought into a new covenant with Jehovah God. It’s the precious blood of the Lamb that have washed our sins away–it cannot be said too may times! No one in heaven or earth was able to do this but Jesus (Revelations 5:5) and He willingly chose to undergo crucifixion to save mankind.

There is no other name under heaven by which men can be saved except for Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). Jesus paid the ultimate price for my sins and your sins too. It is only because of Jesus that we have received salvation. He truly is the author and deliverer of our salvation. What is salvation? Salvation is deliverance; deliverance from captivity; deliverance from bondage; deliverance from Satanic strongholds that hold men in darkness, alienated and separated from fellowship and prayer to God.

Satan the devil has led the whole world down a sinful and wicked path that has brought about man’s death and destruction since man’s creation (Genesis 3: 1-7). He has deliberately bound and chained mankind since seducing Eve in the garden of Eden, but Jehovah God in His undying love for men sent His only begotten Son into the world to atone for our sins (John 3:16).

Jesus Christ is truly the Lamb whose sacrificial death on the cross reunited us with the Father, and brought us back into grace. Yes, grace and truth came through Jesus Christ (John 1:17). We are no longer under the old law (covenant that God gave through Moses), but we are now under grace…and grace is mercy! Through Jesus Christ came mercy—the kind of mercy that forgives sinners over and over again (Hebrews 4:16). Hallelujah! Praise God Forever!

Now that Jesus Christ has ascended back into heaven from where He came (Luke 24:50,51), He is now a faithful and loving high priest that’s at the right hand of the Father (Jehovah God), interceding on our behalf. For those of us who have confessed our faith and faithfully received Jesus into our hearts we are saved (Romans 10:9); however, we still sin and fall short of God’s glory. That is why we have a faithful high priest that stands in the gap to (our intercessor, Jesus Christ) intercede on behalf of God’s servants (Hebrews 7:25-28).

Jesus Christ is the greatest gift ever that Jehovah God could have given to the world. Jesus is the epitome of love; unselfish love; love that knows no bounds, and has no limitations (1Corithians 13:2-8). Jesus Christ is still reaching out today to the whole world. His love is still just as sincere today as it was when He walked the roads of Galilee and throughout Judea. He is calling out to a dying world to accept Him in their lives. Jesus continually reaches out to sinners in hope of them allowing Him to come into their hearts. He is a Saviour that never ceases to extend His hand out to sinners.

When the world has turned its back on you and declared you unfit to live, Jesus is still standing by with an outstretched arm to embrace you so lovingly. Jesus did not come into the world to judge the world; instead, He came into the world to save the lost; the captive; the disenfranchised—those living in sin (John 12:47).

If you haven’t received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, why not do so today? Jesus is standing by waiting for you to invite Him into your heart. Please accept this invitation to become a disciple of Jesus. All you have to do is humble yourself and sincerely ask Him to be your Saviour. Call on Jesus from the depth of your soul and He will respond to your prayers.

Please pray with me: Holy Father, Almighty Jehovah God, have mercy upon my soul and forgive me of all my sins I have ever committed. Wash me in the precious blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ, who so lovingly died on the cross for the remission of sins for the whole world. Father God, give me your “Holy Spirit, and create in me a clean heart to serve you every day of my life. Deliver me from the pits of hell and lead me into life everlasting through your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

The holy scriptures reassures us that if we confess with our mouth and believe in our heart that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead we shall be saved (Romans 10:9).

If you once received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour but turned back to follow Satan, why not return to the author of your salvation, Jesus Christ, today? Jesus is a loving and forgiving saviour that is always reaching out to you each and every day; His love has no bounds and it is impossible to measure. Please pray with me: Holy Father, forgive me for the sins I have committed after receiving Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour, and then turning back to follow Satan, the devil.

Have mercy upon my soul and receive me back into the fold. I give my life to you and I repent of all the evil I have knowingly committed after being washed and cleansed in the precious blood of the Lamb. Father, help me to do your will and deliver me once again from the power of darkness that holds me in captivity. Amen.

Remember, God is love. Jesus is love, and love can cover a multitude of sins (James 5:19). Let us stand together in pray for one another and seek to strengthen each other as brethren in Jesus Christ. Amen

In closing, allow the prince of love to become your Lord and Saviour today. Jesus is love, that is why He willingly shed His blood on the cross to atone for your sins and mine. So please, before it’s too late, except Jesus today.

May the great God Jehovah (Yahweh), creator of heaven and earth, and everything within it; keep you until we meet again. Amen and amen.

Note: Please understand that over time new revelations are given to me to pass on to all that take the time to read the articles/sermons that I post. Therefore, I believe it is imperative that I share these revelations to all who will listen.

In this article/sermon as with all my articles/sermons I use the name Jehovah when referring to the one true God, and I use the name Jesus Christ when referring to the Son of God. However, I want to set the record straight now, and correct this error.

The true historic name of the Father is “Yahawah” spoken in the ancient Hebrew tongue; Jehovah is a translation of that name. Jesus Christ is a modern day misinterpretation of the messiah “Yahawashi”. It is important that we learn to call upon the true name of the Father and the Son. Thank you.
