October 25th, 2010 JESUS CHRIST: The Risen Sun That Continues To Give The “True Light” For The Whole World To See
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came into the world to save sinners. We are all sinners who fall so very short of Jehovah God’s grace. Since the inception of sin into the world through Adam and Eve, Jehovah God has made redemption and salvation available to all of mankind through His only begotten Son Jesus Christ (Genesis 3:15). Jesus Christ the firstborn of all creation came down from heaven and took on the form of man to become a living human sacrifice whose blood would cleanse us from all of our sins and unrighteousness (Colossians 1: 1-23).
After Jesus Christ death on the cross He ascended back up into heaven from which He originally came, but before His ascension He met with His disciples and Apostles to instruct them on what they were to do (Matthew 27:18-20) and the promised arrival of the “Holy Spirit” that would not only guide and instruct them (John 14:26) but would actually dwell within them also (Acts 2:4).
After Jesus ascension back into heaven He is now at the right hand throne of Jehovah God interceding on the behalf of man as our eternal high priest. Today Jesus Christ is no less effective in heaven as He was a healer, teacher, and Saviour when He walked the earth over two thousand years ago. He is an eternal high priest that pleads to the Father on our behalf every day of our lives.
Sin prevents us from going directly to the Father; it doesn’t matter who you are and how good you are and even how holy you are—you are sinful! Jehovah God is holy and pure without any sinful inclinations whatsoever. But all of mankind was conceived in sin due to the actions of our original parents Adam and Eve and their choosing to follow Satan the devil as opposed to following the commandments and teaching of Jehovah God (Genesis 3:3-7).
Through Jesus Christ’s sacrificial death on the cross all of our sins have been washed away and we have been forgiven for them; however, we still possess a sinful nature that prohibits us from going directly before the presence of Jehovah God, but glory be to God we have an eternal high priest in Jesus Christ that stands before the Father on our behalf—always. He is never guilty of not interceding on our behalf—never!
Apostle Paul stated that when Christ came as high priest of the good things that are already here, He went through the greater and perfect Tabernacle that is not man-made, that is to say, not a part of this creation. He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves, but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by His own blood, having obtained eternal redemption. The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean.
Apostle Paul went on to ask, “How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself unblemished (without sin) to God, cleanse our conscience from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God. For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant that those who are called may receive the promised eternal ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant” (Hebrews 9:11-15).
It is only through the precious blood of Jesus Christ that our sins can be washed away. It is only through the precious blood of Jesus Christ that we can receive salvation for there is no other name under heaven whereby men can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Christ alone paid the price for salvation for all of mankind and although there are many who have claimed to be a saviour for mankind, and there are many more who men claim that they are saviours of the world; truth is, Jesus Christ is the only Saviour that ever was and will ever be for mankind.
Jesus stated, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6). For anyone and everyone that chooses to follow someone else or something else it can only be described as a person that is traveling on the wrong path. Choosing roads that look promising is just another satanic ploy that is being used to keep you from traveling the true path that leads to eternal life with the Father and the Son.
Satan the devil is the chief adversary of Jehovah God and Jesus Christ. He has been in opposition to Jehovah God and His will since iniquity was first found in him (Ezekiel 28:1-17). Although initially he dwelt in heaven he has since been cast down to the earth and because he knows he only has a short time to exist he has declared all out war against Jehovah, Jesus Christ, and the saints (Revelations 12:1-17), but make no mistake about it he hates all of mankind (even those who follow and worship him) because they are made in the image and likeness of Jehovah God (Genesis 1:26,27).
Satan the devil and the demons that follow him were originally angels that dwelt in the heavens with Jehovah God and our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. In fact they were created by the Father and Son for Jehovah’s glory (Colossians 1:16). However, they were not created to be automatons; instead, they were created autonomously to think and choose freely and many, many of them chose to rebel against their loving creator and follow Lucifer ( later his name was changed to Satan when he was kicked out of heaven), a high ranking cherub that chose to defy Jehovah through out and out rebelliousness (1Colossians 1:16; Revelations 12:4).
It is Satan the devil who is directly responsible for introducing sin into the world through seducing Eve into rebelling against Jehovah and then she convincing her husband/companion Adam to do likewise thereby bringing swift judgment on themselves as well as all of their offspring that was yet to come. It is true that Satan had not only disrupted Jehovah’s relationship with the crown of his creation—mankind, but in addition to that he was responsible for bringing about Adam and Eve’s death both physically and spiritually.
I would have to assume that Satan must have felt victorious at the disruption of Jehovah’s plans for mankind, but that celebration was only short lived because Jehovah God is love and it was through love that He immediately made provisions for the redemption of mankind through His only begotten Son Jesus Christ (Genesis 3:15). For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16).
From the moment sin entered into the world Jehovah God begin making provisions for the salvation and redemption of mankind. Restoration and redemption would be the free unwarranted gift that Jehovah God through His loving Son Jesus Christ would give to the world. Jesus Christ would leave His heavenly dwelling and come down to earth; born of a woman and proceed to preach the gospel (good news) about salvation for man until His ultimate goal: His sacrificial death on the cross for the salvation, restoration and redemption of mankind. Hallelujah!
Jesus Christ is still reaching out to all of mankind to receive salvation today. Jesus suffered tremendously and endured agonizing pain just for us. Satan fought Him every step of the way and persecuted Him unmercifully throughout Jesus earthly ministry. However, the truth is although Satan had Jesus publicly executed to humiliate and destroy Him before a large crowd of people; yet Jehovah had already glimpse this occurrence and used this event not only to draw new disciples unto Jesus but also to use His death Jesus’ crucifixion and the blood that He would shed on the cross for the atoning of the sins of the whole world. Hallelujah! Praise Jehovah God!
It is the precious blood of Jesus Christ that washes away the sins of the world and because of this His is the only name under heaven by which men can be saved (John 14:6). Jesus Christ is unmistakeably the “Saviour” of the whole world. There is no other name or person under heaven that has the power and the glory to save anyone except for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
And it is because of the love that is in Jesus that we are not bound and enslaved under satanic darkness without any real hope and chance of deliverance. Jesus Christ broke all satanic strongholds and spiritual (darkness) chains that held men in captivity—you don’t have to remain bound and gagged by darkness unless of course you choose to remain in that state yourself.
Jesus Christ is still reaching out today just as He did when He walked the earth teaching and preaching the gospel over two thousand years earlier. None of us have to continue in darkness held captive by evil spirits any longer. Jesus is calling out to each and every one of us daily—all day long! Through His deep love for us He keeps calling and calling really wanting each and every one of us to receive salvation and turn away from a sinful and wicked lifestyle and be baptize and receive the “Holy Spirit”.
If you will please pray with me: Holy Father, Almighty Jehovah God, in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ we come before you this evening Father praising your holy name and giving thanks for all your wonderful, wonderful blessings. Father, forgive us for our sins and transgressions that we have sinned before you Holy Father, wash us in the precious blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for the remission and atoning of our sins—not His.
Holy Father, cleanse us from all unrighteousness and help us to live clean “Holy lives” in the site of God and man. Father, help us to pick up our cross and follow our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ each and every day of our lives beginning right now. Thank you holy Father for salvation through your Son Jesus Christ. Amen
May the Great God Jehovah (Yahweh YHWH), creator of heaven and earth and everything that exist keep you until the great coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! Amen and amen.
