Jesus Christ: The Way; The Truth, and The Life

A man on death row condemn to die, without any chance of a reprieve must agonize over his pending death and how he could have avoided this course. It would seem that the only thing that could be worse is if his own family and love ones were faced with that same awful dilemma.

Unfortunately, when sin first entered the world death was passed on to the offspring of Adam and Eve, who sinned against Jehovah God by rebelling against His instructions. They knowingly and willingly defied the one true God when they chose to ignore the instructions that He had given Adam concerning not eating fruit of the tree of knowledge (Genesis 1: 17); instead, they chose to listen to Satan and trust him, thereby bringing on death to themselves and to every human being that would ever live. Their one rebellious act brought about death and separation from Jehovah-God Almighty.

Jehovah God is a loving and forgiving God that is merciful and filled with kindness (Nehemiah 9: 17). And His love for mankind has no bounds, it is so wide it can’t be measured and so deep it will never be fully understood by man. However, God is also a righteous and a just God that hates evil and the sin it produces (Proverbs 6: 16); yet, He is willing and ready to forgive those who sincerely repent and turn away from their destructive course (Psalms 103:3).

When Adam and Eve sinned against God, it brought condemnation on the whole human race, because of what they did mankind was sentenced to death, but through God’s love for us He made a way that we could be saved and receive eternal life ( John 3:16 ). It is the most precious gift that a loving God can give to His children. There is nothing anyone has done or can do that will earn him/her this precious gift, this is purely a gift from God and it’s available for anyone and everyone that’s willing to receive Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as their Lord and Saviour.

Through repentance and confession of sins, God is willing to forgive you and accept you as a new creature in Christ ( Romans 10:9). Although because of Adam and Eve death was passed on to all of their offspring, it is through Jesus Christ that salvation has come to all of Adam and Eve descendants. Through Jesus Christ you can be saved if you accept him into your life, repent of your sins, and be baptize (Romans 10:13). Hallelujah!

Satan lured Eve into rebelling against God by saying that God was a liar, and He didn’t have their best interest at heart ( Genesis 1: 1-5), but actually he was the one lying; in fact, he is the author of lies ( John 8:44) that is how he could so easily seduce Eve into eating the forbidden fruit. His words charmed her into thinking that by eating the fruit of the tree of knowledge, it would truly benefit her and Adam, but sadly to say those rebellious actions brought about sickness, misery, destruction, death, and worse of all it separated us from God; God hates sin (Romans 6: 23).

It is true, God hates sin, but He is merciful and just to forgive the sinner that repents of his/her sins and receive salvation through His Son Jesus Christ. That is why God so lovingly gave His Son to be the propitiatory sacrifice for the sins of the whole world. Jehovah God’s love for us is so great until He didn’t even hold back His only begotten Son for our sins; instead, He lovingly gave him up for us; the righteous for the unrighteous.

Jesus Christ came into the world to die (save/salvation) for sinners, from the moment He was baptize until His death on the cross, His sole purpose was to show men the way unto salvation. He preached day and night that all men should repent and turn away from their sins, and worship God in spirit and truth. He taught a simple and straight forward message that even a fool could understand; it was his will that all men be saved and none be lost.

Jesus was opposed and persecuted by demonic spirits that worked through the Jewish leaders of the community: scribes; rabbis; lawyers, teachers, and politicians who stirred up the crowds in opposition to Jesus. But Jesus love for God and mankind wouldn’t allow him to rest or draw back from his sole mission: to bring salvation to the world.

Jesus taught the crowds saying, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” ( John 14:6). His message was crystal clear, and He was relentless in His pursuit to show men the way unto salvation and about God’s holy kingdom and their place in it ( John 14:2-3).

Today, right now, Jesus Christ is still reaching out to the world with His offer for salvation for all of mankind. It doesn’t matter who you are; where you are; what you have done, and even who you have done it to. Jesus is willing and ready to forgive you and receive you as His own. Remember, He died for you: atheist, child molester, sex predator, adulterer, homosexual, thief, crook, embezzler, wife beater, murderer;, satanist, warlock, witch; demon worshiper, and everything else contrary to the word of God.

There is no greater time than now to humble yourself and receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. His love for us is just as real and just as sincere as it was when He walked here on earth over two thousand years ago. Now as our appointed high priest that sits on the right hand throne of the Father, He is able to speak and plead on our behalf for our forgiveness, and this He does so willingly; so lovingly; so patiently, until it’s impossible for us to know the depth of His love for all of us. We all sin and fall short of the glory of God, but we have an eternal high priest that faithfully intercedes on our behalf each and every minute of our lives.

Jesus Christ is a loving and caring Saviour that is always there for us when we need Him the most. It is our own sinful inclinations that pushes Him away, it is never His desire to be pushed away–not at all. Jesus said, “If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me” (John 14:23-24).

In a world headed on a fatal course with eternal destruction its destination, now is the time to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and change direction today! Tomorrow is not promised to us, but if you are among the living tomorrow let it be as a new man in Christ Jesus. Let it be as a new creature that has given his life to Jesus. Let it be a new beginning with a commitment to follow Jesus Christ, the only true potentate that gave His life for the sins of the world–through His stripes we were healed ( 1Peter 2:24).

Let not this opportunity slip away for you to receive Jesus Christ into your heart right now. It is God’s will that you be saved, that is why He didn’t even hold back His only begotten Son for you and me (John 3:16); that is why it is incumbent on each and every one of us to avail ourselves of this wonderful gift that God has so graciously and lovingly given to the world.

In conclusion, please accept this sermon as an opportunity for you to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. The bible states that if we confess with our mouth and believe in our heart that God has raised Jesus Christ from the dead, we shall be saved (Romans 10: 9). Jesus is standing at the door, still waiting for you to let Him in. His love for you is unwavering, and it’s His desire that you live and have a close lasting relationship with Him and the Father.

So allow this to be the day that you receive Jesus into your life; allow this to be the day you begin a whole new walk with Jesus as your guide and mentor. All you have to do is open up your heart and let Him in— will you let Him in your life today? May the God of heaven and earth keep you until we meet again. Amen.

Note: Please understand that over time new revelations are given to me to pass on to all that take the time to read the articles/sermons that I post. Therefore, I believe it is imperative that I share these revelations to all who will listen.

In this article/sermon as with all my articles/sermons I use the name Jehovah when referring to the one true God, and I use the name Jesus Christ when referring to the Son of God. However, I want to set the record straight now, and correct this error.

The true historic name of the Father is “Yahawah” spoken in the ancient Hebrew tongue; Jehovah is a translation of that name. Jesus Christ is a modern day misinterpretation of the messiah “Yahawashi”. It is important that we learn to call upon the true name of the Father and the Son. Thank you
