Most educated people feel that only simple minded uneducated folk think that such a character actually exist. Intelligent people around the globe laugh at the mention of such an entity being real. Truth is, Satan has done a great job of causing people to doubt that he even exist. Billions of people feel that he is just some imaginary character out of an old fable that people pass on from one generation to another.

Sadly to say, throughout the bible the name of God has been replaced with the word “LORD”. There are many, many people in the world who have never heard of the one true God name nor do they recognize it in print. For sure the name Jehovah is an English rendering of the Hebrew word, Yahweh, or the ancient Hebrew rendering of the word “Yahawa”.

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the patriarchs of the Israelites was and is Jehovah. He is the creator of the world and everything else as well. There is no other true God beside Jehovah/Yahweh. There are many false gods that are worshiped but they are not gods at all, only false representations of the one true god that was, and is, and will always be; from everlasting to everlasting, and from eternity to eternity, without a beginning and without an ending (Psalm 41:13). From one continent to the other people live with hunger each and every day. On the other hand there are people who waste tons of good edible food daily. They hardly give it a second thought that people are suffering from hunger and malnutrition in the worse kind of way.

However, whether a person is well feed or constantly in a state of hunger, one thing is for sure: there is no salvation in food, period. But there is salvation in our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). Jesus is the true bread of life that brings salvation and redemption to us all. He was crucified on the cross for our sins, becoming the “Sacrificial Lamb” whose blood cleansed us from all sin and unrighteousness.
