November 9th, 2009 Though Your Heart Is filled With So Much Pain and Sorrow, Don’t Give Up
Although your heart is filled with so much pain and sorrow and your soul is over burdened with hurt and grief; don’t give up. You may even feel that you can’t go on and your grief is just too much to bear: anger, resentment, and even feelings of hatred might be slowly rising to a peak inside of you, but don’t give up on what you have come to believe and trust when you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.
Tragedy often strikes unbeknownst; without warning, and without notice. It seems to occur when we are the least expectant and totally unprepared to deal with it. As Christians we are not exempt from life tragedies nor are we isolated from the suffering that a sinful world has produced. There are trials and tribulations that we will face in our day to day living; some are temporary, and some are permanent. But whether they are temporary or permanent we do not, and should not face them alone.
Receiving Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and believing in Him has given you a new birth; you are a new creature in Christ Jesus with a new beginning and a new life. As you continue to grow spiritually, Jehovah God will give you His “Holy Spirit” to guide you and lead you in understanding His word and His will through His Son Jesus Christ. The bible tells us that even the angels in heaven rejoice when a sinner repents and receive salvation (Luke 15:10). You are very precious in the sight of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and God Almighty! They truly care about you and everything that pertains to you as well.
Very small matters that you might think do not even warrant God’s time is important to Him. He loves you and cares for you and its a hurting thing for Him to see you heartbroken and filled with grief, that is why He sent His prophet Isaiah to give this message to His people:”He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of His shall he take away from off the earth; for the Lord has spoken it” (Isaiah 25:8).
You can be confident that God see your suffering and He has compassion for you. He is going to bring about a new order; a new earth; a new Jerusalem that will be without death and the pain and the suffering it brings (Revelations 7:17). God’s word is truth and it is a sure foundation that we all can stand on, even in the mist of tremendous sorrow and hurt. Don’t despair even though your heart may ache from the lost of a love one, remember Jesus’ heart aches when He sees one of His disciples suffering from the lost of a love one (Luke 11:33-36) and He long to embrace you, comfort you, and wipe the tears away. All you have to do is remain in Him and trust Him to do so, and He will not disappoint you.
To lose someone that you love so much can be devastating to say the least, and your total center of gravity can be turned upside down and inside out, but don’t allow this to be the reason you turn away from your faith; your belief; your walk with Jesus Christ. Please don’t allow the powers of darkness to seize upon you and use this as an opportunity to lead you away from Christ by blaming Him for the death of your love one.
The truth is, Satan is the author of death, and he has brought about death to the whole world through deception and deceit. Through Him death entered the world (Satan seduced Eve/Adam) and death was past on to all of mankind because of sin (Genesis 2:15; 2-4).
But we can rejoice because through Jesus Christ came salvation (Acts 16:31), and through salvation comes the opportunity for eternal life where death and sorrow will be no more. That is why it is so important that we do not be lead away from so great a salvation that Jehovah God has lovingly given us through His precious Son Jesus Christ.
Your heart may be filled with pain right now but trust Jehovah (Yahweh) God to faithfully take care of you. He loves you and wants you to remain in His Son Jesus Christ, that is why he did not hold back His only begotten Son for you and me and everybody else (John 3:16). God loves you and will be there for you in your hour of sorrow; He will never, ever let you down.
Even though your heart is breaking remember to pray and have faith in God that He will guide you and take care of you through His Son Jesus Christ. There is no situation or circumstance beyond their ability to handle. All you need is faith (Romans 5:1) to see the blessings of the Lord bestowed upon you. And though your love one may be dead there is going to be a day of resurrection for all those in the graves; that is why we need to remain in Christ so that it will be a resurrection unto life and not the second death (Revelation 20:5,6).
Jesus said that He had come so that we would have life more abundantly (John10:10), and He is truly concerned about our life and every aspect of it, and that is why He exemplified His love for us on the cross thereby giving us deliverance from the power of darkness—Satan the devil. But until His triumphant return; when He comes to receive His own and do battle with Satan and his demons (1 Thessalonians 4:15-18), remain firm in your faith, and hold on to the great promise that Jehovah God has in store for all those that love Him (1Corinthians 2:9).
If your heart is aching due to the lost of someone that was close to you and it seems that the pain will not go away; although you’re trying to be strong, just let me say this in closing: call on Jesus and allow Him to comfort you and sustain you in your time of sorrow. No one knows the heart like our Creator and His Son Jesus Christ; no one knows the depth of human suffering like Jesus does, and no one can comfort you like He can. How I know? Because of His love for us all; you, me, and all of God’s children. He will lovingly wipe the tears from your eyes and He will be there when no one else will.
If you have never received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour allow me the opportunity to extend a warm and sincere invitation to do so today. Jesus is love. Jehovah God is love. Love stands at the door of your heart asking for you to invite the Father and the Son into your life. Please pray with me: Have mercy on my soul and wash me in the precious blood of the Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who died on Calvary Hill, for the remission of sins for the whole world. Give me your “Holy Spirit” to guide me and lead me into doing your will. Thank you Father.
The holy scriptures tells us that if we confess with our mouth and believe in our heart that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead we will be saved (Romans 10:9). Now continue to pray that Jehovah God will lead you to a place of worship where you can be baptized and nurtured as a new Christian. Sturdy the bible and pray without ceasing; God will guide you and instruct you on doing His will. Hallelujah!
If you once received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour but turned back to follow Satan, please accept this invitation to return back to Jesus Christ. He loves you and is waiting patiently at the door of your heart for you to invite Him back in. He never left you; you left Him.
Please pray with me: Holy Father, Almighty Jehovah God, I repent of all the sins I have committed after receiving Jesus Christ, as my Lord and Saviour. I crucified Jesus all over again with my willful sinning, all the while knowing that what I was doing was wrong. Father, have mercy upon my soul and deliver me from darkness. Please receive me back into the fold today, Father. I promise to pick up my cross and follow Jesus until the end.
May the great God Jehovah, creator of heaven and earth, and His Son Jesus Christ keep you and comfort you until we meet again. Amen.

Note: Please understand that over time new revelations are given to me to pass on to all that take the time to read the articles/sermons that I post. Therefore, I believe it is imperative that I share these revelations to all who will listen.
In this article/sermon as with all my articles/sermons I use the name Jehovah when referring to the one true God, and I use the name Jesus Christ when referring to the Son of God. However, I want to set the record straight now, and correct this error.
