March 5th, 2010 Soldiers Of Darkness: Following The Commands Of Their Chief Commander—Satan The Devil
Never before in the history of mankind has the earth been so heavily populated with people—people who oppose the will and word of Jehovah God and His Son Jesus Christ. Never before has the opposition and antagonism against Christianity been so broad and venomous as it is today.
In many parts of the world Christianity as a religion is banned and professing Christians are persecuted, and in many instances publicly put to death to frighten would be worshipers from accepting Christianity as their religion. Many governments world wide have set manifestos that declare Christianity as an enemy of their nation and have outlawed the studying of the bible as well as those who would dare to teach it.
Nations where Christianity is tolerated, Christian views and teachings are received with skepticism at best and cynicism at worst. But note this, Jesus said, “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, I am the Christ, and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains”.
Jesus went on to say, “then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people”.
Jesus concluded by saying, “because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:1-14).
That is why we as Christians must become grounded and rooted in our faith in order to withstand the persecution that is inevitable for followers of Christ. That is why the apostle Paul admonished us to “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
He went on to encourage us saying, “Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one”.
Apostle Paul went on to adamantly instruct us to,”take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints” (Ephesians 6:10-18).
The Apostle Paul clearly reminded us that our war is not against people but our war is against evil in high places, rulers of darkness, demonic spiritual forces and wickedness that is authoritative and powerful, that is why we must remain in Christ in order to successfully fight against the enemy–Satan the devil and his evil empire.
Jesus stated, ” I am the true vine, and my Father (Jehovah/Yahweh) is the gardner. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit while every branch that does bear fruit He prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.
Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:15).
We are no match against evil; against spiritual forces (wickedness) in high places but through Christ we are successful in our fight against wickedness, “I can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth me”, the Apostle Paul wrote to the Philippians’ congregation (Philippians 4:13). When Jesus died on the cross for us he took away all strongholds that once held men in captivity and set us free. Free from satanic forces that has taken us captive and enslaved us to satanic powers.
The Apostle Paul stated to Timothy, a young follower of Christ: “Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier” (2 Timothy 2:1-4).
In order for us as soldiers of Christ to war a successful battle against the forces of evil we must remain in Jesus Christ and we cannot afford to stray away occasionally for some sort of retreat–some sort of “time out” period. When we do so we open up ourselves for demonic attacks that can result in spiritual as well as physical death.
Satan is ruthless and he is in direct war with all of Christ followers. Although it is true that he hates all of mankind because we are made in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26); nevertheless, he has a special hatred for those who follow Jehovah’s commandments and are disciples of His Son, Jesus Christ.
So as a Christian we cannot afford to nonchalantly stray away and think everything will continue to be alright because the truth is when you leave Christ you open yourself up for satanic attacks that could very well cost you your life—both spiritually and physically. Remember, Satan is out to kill you in the worst kind of way, but more importantly to him is that you die separated and alienated from Jesus Christ because of your willful sinning.
As Christians we cannot afford to abandon Jesus or lay Him down—metaphorically speaking and pursue a course that is contrary to the word and will of Jehovah God—our heavenly Father. We must remain steadfast and grounded in Christ in order to be under divine protection at all times.
And if anything happens to us while we are under divine protection…and I mean anything—it is God’s will! And that is just great. Hallelujah!. “For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord, whether we live therefore , or die, we are the Lords” (Romans 14:8).
And that’s the real beauty of it all whether we live or die we are the Lords. Amen. My friend, that is the true victory that Jesus Christ has given us through His sacrificial death on the cross. Man! What a relief to know whether we live or die we belong to Jesus. What more can be said about enduring persecution. It is not in vain if we remain faithful to Jesus in our trial of persecution.
In conclusion, as fellow Christians we cannot afford to be divided by nationality, race, class, tribe, gender, or any other subgroup. We must come together in the name of Jesus Christ and support one another with prayer and encouragement. As ambassadors and disciples of Christ we must love each other.
Jesus said, “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this all men will know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another”(John 13:34,35). And Jesus went on to say, “If you love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever” (John 14:15-16).
Love is the key to following Christ: Love Jehovah (Yahweh) God with all your heart and soul and mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments” (Matthew 23:37-40).
Jesus gave His life as a sacrifice for the sins of the world—the ultimate act of love and He tells us to love one another. He set the example on Calvary Hill when He died on the cross for the remission of our sins—not His.
Please accept this opportunity to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour today. Jesus is a loving and caring Saviour that is reaching out to you with a loving heart. Jesus is love. And it is through love that He extends a warm and sincere hand out to you today. He longs for a personal and loving relationship with you.
He will forgive you for all your sins and transgressions if you want Him to. He is at the right hand throne of the Father (our intercessor) pleading for you right now—our eternal high priest. He longs to come into your life and guide you into safe harbor.
Outside is Satan the devil trying to destroy your life every second of the minute and every minute of the hour, every day of the year, and sooner or later he will succeed! Yes, this message is that urgent!
Why die in your sins and risk eternal damnation when the opportunity for eternal life surrounded by love and graciousness is available and knocking at your door right now? Please pray with me: Holy Father, forgive me of my sins and transgressions that I have sinned against you.
Forgive me for the wrong I have done to so many people. Holy Father, I ask that your Son Jesus Christ will come into my life and be my Lord and Saviour for evermore. Father I commit my life to you. In Jesus name I pray. Amen. Hallelujah! Praise Jehovah God! Amen.
If you once received Jesus Christ but turned back to follow Satan, please accept this invitation to return to the saviour of your soul. Don’t continue to allow Satan to hold you bound in captivity any longer. Jesus is a loving saviour that is willing and ready to receive you back into the fold.
Please pray with me: Holy Father, Almighty Jehovah God, in the name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, I humble myself and ask for forgiveness for the sins and transgressions that I knowingly and unknowingly committed after receiving Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. Father God, I repent of all my wrongdoings, and I turn back to once again pick up my cross to follow Jesus. Have mercy upon my soul. Amen.
May the Great God Jehovah (Yahweh), God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob keep you until we meet again. In Jesus name I pray, amen and amen.

Note: Please understand that over time new revelations are given to me to pass on to all that take the time to read the articles/sermons that I post. Therefore, I believe it is imperative that I share these revelations to all who will listen.
In this article/sermon as with all my articles/sermons I use the name Jehovah when referring to the one true God, and I use the name Jesus Christ when referring to the Son of God. However, I want to set the record straight now, and correct this error.
The true historic name of the Father is “Yahawah” spoken in the ancient Hebrew tongue; Jehovah is a translation of that name. Jesus Christ is a modern day misinterpretation of the messiah “Yahawashi”. It is important that we learn to call upon the true name of the Father and the Son. Thank you.
