The Gift Of Salvation From Jehovah God Through Christ

With winter looming in the western hemisphere bringing with it cold, rain, sleet, snow, and ice storms in many parts of the United States, it would behoove us to begin preparing for these challenging conditions. And with the price of fuel continually escalating it’s quite understandable how many might find themselves pondering the thought of survival under these harsh circumstances. When you compound the facts that unemployment, rising food prices, rising energy prices and the total overall increase of goods and services make it difficult just to remain buoyant, it’s no wonder that many families are reeling, and feeling overloaded and depressed.

Factor in the so-called “holiday season” and the misery index continues to soar higher and higher, leaving many exasperated and defeated. It is sad to say that during these times: suicides, murder/suicide, family tension, family infighting, and even family members killing one another increases more so than any other time of the year. Because of a lack of financial means to purchase things that they want or just the things they need, members of some families actually turn on one another violently in case after case.

Compounding the problem is the fact that many households are headed by only one parent; oftentimes, a female that barely gets by when the weather conditions (spring and summer) are most agreeable. With winter on the horizon and the holiday season fast approaching, anxiety begins to take its toll, giving way to extreme bouts of anger and all too often tragic outcomes.

But there is help in times of trouble for all of Jehovah (Yahweh) God’s people and that help is available not just in times of struggle and trouble but everyday of your life. In good times or bad God wants a loving relationship with every human being and there is no respect of person with Him (Romans 8:32). It doesn’t matter if you’re a king that sits on a throne or a homeless beggar that lives in the gutter scrounging for food. God’s love for all of mankind is truly unconditional.

The world we live in can be cruel and mean spirited, robbing you of life and happiness and never giving anything good in return. Each day brings about its own set of hardships and sorrows until many give up from the weight of it all; refusing to be beat down round after round with humiliation, loss of dignity, and even loss of self respect. Many simply choose to walk away from their responsibilities altogether and violence is too often the solution some choose as a way out of it all.

Although it might appear to some that hopelessness surrounds them and there is no way out, I would like to take a moment to say that hopelessness can be replaced with an abundant life… and your hardships and struggles have not gone unnoticed and unseen by Jesus Christ and Jehovah God. Though your trials and tribulations seems to thwart any chance of happiness you might have, there is someone that is nearby that is so willing to help you; someone who wants you to reach out to Him and let Him in; someone that knows you and the struggles and hardships you are enduring—every one of them!

You don’t have to suffer in silence or turn to temporary solutions that cannot deliver you from your troubles. Why wallow in self-pity when help is readily available? Why continue to wrestle with heavy burdens when there is someone to help you in the way you need help the most?

“For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). From creation to this very moment it has been and is God’s will that every man, woman, and child have life and have it abundantly. From the beginning it was God’s will that mankind would have a loving and trusting relationship with Him,\; after all, He is our creator and His love for us has no bounds; however, though God is love (1John 4:8); yet, He is a God of justice and righteousness who hates evil and the manifestations of it.

When mankind (Adam and Eve) rebelled against God, sin entered into the world; prior to their rebellious act sin did not exist at all. Since their rebellious act sin entered into the world and has been passed down from generation to generation to each and every living soul (Genesis 3:1-24).

Jehovah ( Hebrew name Yahweh) God, the great “I AM”, is the creator of all life and is the Father of all creation. Through His undying love for mankind He sent His Son, (Jesus Christ), whom He loves dearly into the world to become the human sacrifice whose blood atoned for the sins of the whole world and restored our broken and lost relationship with Him. At the appointed time Jesus, the Son of God, came down from heaven and took on the form of a man, becoming the “Sacrificial Lamb” whose blood was shed on the cross for the remission of sins for the whole world.

Jesus Christ, truly the Son of God, existed in heaven long before He took on the form of a man and became a human sacrifice for the sins of the world. He was co-creator with the Father (Colossians 1:16;Genesis 1:26) and through Him all things that were created were created through Him, but Jesus willingly and lovingly gave up His dwelling in heaven to take on the form of a man and become a human sacrifice for the sins of the whole world, even though He was sinless and no iniquity was found in Him (Revelation (5:1-14).

That in itself clearly demonstrates the love that Jehovah God and our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ have for their people. He did not even spare His only begotten Son whom He loves for us. What greater act of love than one giving up His only Son for the sins of someone else! That’s the kind of love God has for us, the kind of love that demonstrates itself in action—not just words.

God’s love for us runs deeply and His desire for us to live a life fill with abundance is unwavering. You don’t have to suffer any longer, trust God to take care of all your needs; He is trustworthy, and you can rely on his words but there are actions you must take to initiate a loving relationship with the Father.

It doesn’t cost you one single penny, and there are no secret incantations you need to recite, nor some sort of hocus-pocus ritual you must do or speak; instead, simply ask God’s Son (Jesus Christ) into your life to become your Lord and Saviour. Repent of your sins and transgressions, and as much as possible name them, ask God with all sincerity to forgive you of your sins and transgression that you have knowingly/unknowingly sinned against Him; for God is a “Holy God”, righteous and without sin—God hates sin but still loves us who sins.

Do this is the name of His Son Jesus Christ, who is a faithful and just high priest that sits on the right hand throne of the Father (Jehovah God), interceding on our behalf—the righteous for the unrighteous. And God is kind and loving enough to forgive us of all our sins: murder, rape; child abuse; adultery; fornication; witchcraft; homosexuality; stealing; robberies; abortions, and everything else that is contrary to the will of God. It doesn’t matter how bad the world despise you for what you have done, God is faithful and just to forgive you through His Son Jesus Christ who died on the cross for your sins and mine.

Yes it’s true, many are suffering and faced with a bleak reality: soaring prices, shortages of things that you need and a lack of just the basic staples it takes to live, but your Father in heaven (Jehovah God) knows what you need before you even ask, Jesus stated. “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be open unto you.

For every one that asketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened”, Jesus went on to say. (Matthew 7: 7, 8). “Or what man is there of you, whom if his Son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask for a fish, will give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?”, Jesus questioned the crowd. (Matthew 7: 9-11).

It really is God’s will that you live in abundance and not live in misery because you do not even have the basic necessities of life (Psalms 1:1-6), but we must do our part and bring our life into accord with His will for us. We must be obedient to His word and His will in order to receive His blessings that He so lovingly gives to each and every one of us that picks up our cross and follow His Son Jesus Christ.

In closing, just allow me to say this: if you have once received Jesus Christ into your life, but withdrew and turned to follow Satan the devil—repent, and ask God for forgiveness and return to your Father and your Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, who loves you and wants only the best for you.

Please pray with me: Holy Father, Almighty Jehovah God, I repent of all the sins I have committed after receiving Jesus Christ, as my Lord and Saviour. I crucified Jesus all over again with my willful sinning, all the while knowing that what I was doing was wrong. Father, have mercy upon my soul and deliver me from darkness. Please receive me back into the fold today, Father. I promise to pick up my cross and follow Jesus until the end.

If you have never known that Jesus is the only way unto salvation and that there is no other name under heaven by which men can be saved—now you do. Confess your sins to the Father (Jehovah God Almighty) in the name of Jesus Christ, believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead —you shall be saved ( Romans 10:9).

Have mercy on my soul and wash me in the precious blood of the Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who died on Calvary Hill, for the remission of sins for the whole world. Give me your “Holy Spirit” to guide me and lead me into doing your will. Thank you Father.

The holy scriptures tells us that if we confess with our mouth and believe in our heart that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead we will be saved (Romans 10:9). Now continue to pray that Jehovah God will lead you to a place of worship where you can be baptized and nurtured as a new Christian. Sturdy the bible and pray without ceasing; God will guide you and instruct you on doing His will. Hallelujah!

So please, please, consider this timely message and act before it is too late. Remember this, Jesus is standing at the door waiting to receive you with loving arms…and there are no exceptions. May God bless you and keep you. Amen.

In this article/sermon as with all my articles/sermons I use the name Jehovah when referring to the one true God, and I use the name Jesus Christ when referring to the Son of God. However, I want to set the record straight now, and correct this error.
