Finding Strength In Jehovah God Through His Son Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the first born of all creation (Colossians 1:1-20), the “Sacrificial Lamb” whose blood took away the sins of the world when he died on Calvary Hill for the remission of sins for mankind; paved the way for all God’s servants to receive eternal salvation. Hallelujah! Through His death on the cross our sins were atoned for and our relationship with Jehovah God, our heavenly Father was restored.

After Jesus death and resurrection (Acts 1:3) He ascended up to heaven from where He originally came (Luke 24:5). Jesus Christ is at the right hand throne of God interceding on our behalf (Hebrews 7:5). He is our eternal high priest that can never die again, and through Him our prayers are presented before the Father—Jehovah God.

The revelation of Jesus Christ which God (Jehovah) gave Him to show to His servants what must soon take place. He (Jehovah God) made it known by sending His angel to His servant John (apostle), who testifies to everything he saw—that is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ (Revelation 1:1,2).

It is the precious blood of Jesus Christ that was shed on the cross for the remission of sins for the whole world that washes our sins away. Now as our eternal high priest that stands before the father as our intercessor, we are no longer alienated and separated from Jehovah God due to our sinful nature.

Jesus Christ stands in the gap; Jesus Christ is the only one that has credibility (sinless) before God—not mankind. Our sins and transgressions block our access to the Father, but Jesus is and was, and will always be without sin; therefore, He, and He alone is qualified to stand before our heavenly Father who is holy and righteous, and make requests for us sinners (1Timothy 1:15).

However, Jesus Christ is coming back again to earth to wage war against His enemies and those that oppose the will of God (Revelation 1: 7,8; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18), but before that happens there are some things that must take place first (Luke 21:5-36).

“Then I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll with writings on both sides and sealed with seven seals. And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, ‘ Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll’? But no one in heaven or on earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. Then one of the elders said to me, ‘ Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals’ ” (Revelations 5:1-5).

Jesus Christ is truly the Saviour of the whole world. Jesus has purchased all men with the blood that He shed on the cross. Without sin and without blemish, He and only He was fit to become a sacrifice that could redeem His brethren (mankind) from a spiritual death. It is through the blood of Jesus Christ that sinners are “Born Again” and cleansed from their sins.

And it is Jesus that will wage war against Satan, his demons, and all people that follow him and refuse to follow Jesus Christ. Jesus stated that He was the way, and the truth, and the life (John 14:6,7). For men to choose any other path other than Jesus Christ; that path will lead to eternal destruction.

Although suffering, sickness, and death has brought so much pain and sorrow to mankind since sin entered into the world (Adam and Eve rebelliousness), our great and loving God Jehovah, is going to bring about a complete change where there will be no more pain and suffering, and death will be no more (Isaiah 25:8).

Mankind was created to live eternally and never die, but the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23), and it is sin and the ramifications of sin that has shackled and bound the human race with so much misery and desolation. It was never Jehovah God’s will that we be strapped with grief and heartache; it was never His will that wars, contentions, strife, and discontent reign in our world. Jehovah, is a God of love (1John 4:8,9) and He lovingly created the world and mankind to live in a world that was created out of love and with love.

Then why is the world filled with so much trouble: Murders, killings, pandemics, natural disasters (hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, floods), hatred and discord? The answer is very simple—sin. Sin is the opposition and rebelliousness against Jehovah God’s will and word. For anyone and everyone that chooses to live their life in opposition to the word and will of God sins.

Jehovah God is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent; all the time and in every way. No one and I mean no one knows better than He. He is our creator and master architect who created all things from before the beginning of time! (Genesis 1:1-31). With man time is finite, as well as our understanding of all things, but with God time is infinite (2Peter 3:8); without beginning and without ending. The phrases “from eternity to eternity”, and “from everlasting to everlasting” is about as close as you can come to relating time with Jehovah God.

So how can we be so presumptuous to think that we can do quite well determining our own course and living our lives independent of Jehovah God? It’s foolishness to even think so but that’s exactly what Adam and Eve did when they chose to follow the advice of Satan the devil in the garden of Eden. Needless to say that one rebellious act brought forth death and destruction into the world and ever since then the world has been filled with suffering, pain, sorrow, and death.

Jehovah God has lovingly made provisions for the restoration, redemption, and salvation for the offspring of Adam and Eve (Genesis 3:15). God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to redeem the world through His sacrificial death on the cross (John 3:16). Jesus died on the cross for me and for you and He was raised from the dead on the third day and is now at the right hand throne of Jehovah interceding on our behalf (Hebrews 12:2; 7:25,26).

And this same Jesus, the Son of God that is at the right hand of Jehovah interceding on our behalf in heaven is coming back again to earth to wage war against His enemies and to receive His own (Luke 24:50; 1Thessalonians 4:16,17). “Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End”.

Jesus went on to say, “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the ‘Bright Morning Star’ ” (Revelations 22:12-16).

Allow me to extend an open invitation to you and to all who might have read this sermon. Please take a moment and listen to what I have to say. Jesus Christ, the Son of Jehovah God has made it possible for all of mankind to be saved and to receive salvation…and there are no exceptions. Through His sacrificial death on the cross He atoned for all of our sins and transgressions that separated us from Jehovah God. Through His death we can be “Born Again” and share in a new spiritual life with Jesus Christ and Jehovah God, the Father and creator of mankind.

If you will confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that God raised Him (Jesus) from the dead you shall be saved (Romans 10:9). Today, if you haven’t already received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, why not do it today? Jesus is standing at the door of your heart waiting for you to invite Him in. His love for you is real and genuine and He desires a close and personal relationship with you. You see, all of Jehovah God’s creation is special to Him, that is why He did not even spare His only begotten Son (Jesus Christ) for you and for me (John 3:16).

If you would only ask Jesus from the bottom of your heart to come into your life and be your Lord and Saviour—He will. He will never reject anyone that sincerely comes to Him for salvation. Jesus is love and it is because of love that He willingly and lovingly died on the cross for all of our sins. All you have to do is honestly pray and ask Jesus to deliver you from your sins and transgression and He will accept you as His own today—right now! And He will never, ever turn you away or let you down.

In conclusion, the time is drawing near for the return of Jesus Christ. There is no reason for anyone to be found unworthy and unfit to receive Him. There is no reason for anyone to be condemn to eternal damnation because they chose to continue to follow the evil one—Satan the devil. Again, Jesus is standing at the door of your heart, waiting for you to allow Him to come in. He is a humble and loving Saviour that will not kick the door down to get in; instead, He graciously knocks desiring to come in and save you from your sins—not His.

If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, please accept this opportunity to do so today. Please pray with me: Holy Father, Almighty, Jehovah God, creator of heaven and earth and everything within it. I humbly bow down before you Father, asking forgiveness for my sins and transgressions that I have committed. I repent of all wrongdoings that I have done throughout my life.

Have mercy on my soul and wash me in the precious blood of the Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who died on Calvary Hill, for the remission of sins for the whole world. Give me your “Holy Spirit” to guide me and lead me into doing your will. Thank you Father.

The holy scriptures tells us that if we confess with our mouth and believe in our heart that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead we will be saved (Romans 10:9). Now continue to pray that Jehovah God will lead you to a place of worship where you can be baptized and nurtured as a new Christian. Sturdy the bible and pray without ceasing; God will guide you and instruct you on doing His will. Hallelujah!

If you once received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour but at some point turned back to follow Satan, please accept this opportunity to return to Jesus Christ. Jesus is a loving and caring Saviour that is waiting patiently for you to turn back to following Him. His love for you and me is such that He continues to wait on our return patiently day after day; year after year. But be not misled, continuing down a path of rebellion can lead to eternal damnation (1Samuel 15:23).

Please pray with me: Holy Father, Almighty Jehovah God, I repent of all the sins I have committed after receiving Jesus Christ, as my Lord and Saviour. I crucified Jesus all over again with my willful sinning, all the while knowing that what I was doing was wrong. Father, have mercy upon my soul and deliver me from darkness. Please receive me back into the fold today, Father. I promise to pick up my cross and follow Jesus until the end.

Continue to pray to Jehovah God for guidance and instructions on what He will have you to do. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is always there to intercede on your behalf. Praise God! Amen.
