Finding Strength In Jehovah God Through His Son Jesus Christ

Throughout the millenniums men have worshiped many, many different gods and goddesses who really weren’t gods or goddesses at all but extensions and creations of Satan the devil. Since antiquity Satan has sought to be worshiped as a God in one form or another. Satan’s zeal to be worshiped as a god is no less today than when iniquity was first found in him.

“The word of the Lord came to me: ‘Son of man, say to the ruler of Tyre, This is what the Sovereign Lord says’ : ” ‘You were the model of perfection, full of wisdom and beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you: ruby, topaz, and emerald, chrysolite, onyx and jasper, sapphire, turquoise and beryl. Your settings and mountings were made of gold; on the day you were created they were prepared. You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones. You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you.” ‘

The prophet Ezekiel goes on to say as he quotes the message from Jehovah God, ” ‘Through your widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I (Jehovah God) drove you in disgrace from the mount of God, and I expelled you, O guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones. Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. So I threw you to the earth; I made a spectacle of you before kings.” ‘(Ezekiel 28:12-17).

The spirit of false worship is very much alive today and there are now billions and billions of people all over the earth who worship and serve false gods and goddesses who are really so called deities that lead directly back to Satan the devil. All these so called gods and goddesses roots originate with Satan. He was and still is the relentless force behind the perpetuation and the glorification of false worship. His desire to be worshiped as a God had its beginning when he originally resided in heaven until his massive revolt against Jehovah God (Revelation 12:1-9).

“How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! You said in your heart, ‘ I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’ But you will be brought down to the grave to the depths of the pit” (Isaiah 14:12-15).

Satan is the author of jealousy and pride as well as envy and rebelliousness. His attempt to be worshiped as a God by fellow angels was only the beginning of his efforts to lead others into rebelling against Jehovah God by worshiping him in some way or form. Through cleverness and deceit Satan continues to lead the whole world into false worship and idolization in so many ways that are cloaked and so well hidden until only a few are really aware of the fact that the originator and creator of false worship is none other than Satan the devil.

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters” (Genesis 1:1,2). “Then God said, ” ‘Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground’ ” (Genesis 1:26).

“Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, ‘Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’ ? The woman (Eve) said to the serpent, ‘We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die’ ”

Satan, disguised as a serpent went on to reply to the woman’s (Eve) response, ” ‘ You will not surely die’ “, the serpent said to the woman. For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like a God, knowing good and evil’ “.

“When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband (Adam), who was with her, and he ate it” (Genesis 3:1-4).

It is clear to see the role Satan has played in the deception of mankind since the creation of Adam (Eve’s husband) and Eve. Through deceit and trickery he has led mankind into a state of rebelliousness against our creator, Jehovah God. Down through the millenniums Satan has continued his revolt against Jehovah God by willfully accusing God of lies and all manner of evil when in reality he is the one guilty of the destruction of mankind since he first led Adam and Eve into distrusting Jehovah God and them choosing a rebellious course (following Satan the devil) to follow as oppose to staying obedient to the word and will of Jehovah God.

The key to serving Jehovah God is obedience to His word and His will and having faith in God. We cannot serve God acceptably if we really do not believe in Him, and we cannot believe in Him if we don’t know Him. The holy scriptures tells us that faith cometh from hearing the word of God (Romans 10:17). Jesus said, “Have faith in God”, and he went on to answer a question that was addressed to Him, “I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go throw yourself into the sea’,and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins” (Mark 11:22-26).

Jesus Christ is the way that leads to true worship of our heavenly Father, Jehovah God (John 14:6). Following the example that Jesus Christ set for the whole world is the only way to receiving salvation. Following Satan the devil can lead to everlasting destruction and total rejection by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and Jehovah God. Satan and his whole kingdom perpetuates false worship every minute of the day in an all out effort to keep people chained in spiritual darkness forever, but it is through Jesus Christ that all demonic strongholds (nailed to the cross) have been broken and redemption and salvation for all has been made available if we so desire.

In conclusion, don’t allow Satan the devil to keep you blinded and in darkness until you die. Jesus Christ died on the cross for the remission of sins for you and me and everybody else. It is a wonderful free gift that cost you absolutely nothing at all, and yet gives you everything. Why continue to remained shackled and chained by the spirit of darkness that only deliver lies and more lies and eventually eternal damnation when the alternative is Jesus Christ who gives you light–the word of Jehovah God is light that brings forth life?

If you have not received Jesus Christ into your life as your Lord and Saviour and would like to do so right now, please pray with me: Holy Father, Almighty Jehovah God, I bow down in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and I humbly ask for forgiveness for all the sins and transgressions that I have ever committed in my entire life. Father, in Jesus name I ask that you wash me in the precious blood of the Lamb and cleanse me of all unrighteousness and create in me a clean heart to do your will, and give me your “Holy Spirit” to dwell within me to teach and instruct me on how to live a holy life and serve you in the right way. In Jesus name I pray, amen.

The holy scriptures tells us that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved (Romans 10:9). For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. (Romans 10:10). Hallelujah! Praise God! Glory be to God Almighty! The holy scriptures reassures us that when one sinner repents and is saved even the angels in heaven rejoice (Luke 15:7).

Now go on and live a life committed to serving Jehovah God through His Son Jesus Christ who is the eternal author of our salvation; our redeemer, and resurrected king who was crucified on the cross for our sins but raised to life on the third day by the “Holy Spirit” and now is at the right hand throne of Jehovah God interceding on our behalf; our eternal high priest that is coming back to receive His own followers and to war against His enemies with the words of His mouth. Hallelujah! (1Thessalonians 4:15,16).

If you who once received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour but returned (backslide) to follow Satan why not let this be the day that you return to the one who gave His life for you? Jesus is love and is waiting patiently for all backsliders to return to Him once and for all. Please accept this invitation that is extended to all backsliders through the love and forgiveness of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ whose precious blood washes all of our sins away. Now is the time to seek forgiveness because none of us know what tomorrow may bring. Why risk the possibility of dying in your sins and being eternally rejected by Jehovah God because of your refusal to repent? The Holy Bible warns us that rebelliousness is the same sin as witchcraft! And witchcraft is an abomination before God (1Samuel 15:23)

May the Great God Jehovah creator of heaven and earth keep you through His loving Son–our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, until the second coming of our King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Hallelujah! Praise God! Amen and amen.
