November 2nd, 2009 God Is Love ( The True Meaning Of Restoration)
Long before the creation of this world Jehovah (Yahweh) God existed, His dwelling was and is high above the heavens. Without beginning and without ending He exist from eternity to eternity; from everlasting to everlasting. As human beings our concept of time is finite, but with God time is infinite and this can only be said about God alone. With him a thousand years is like a day and a day like a thousand years (2 Peter 3: 8).
Although initially God dwelt alone high above the heavens He was completely self-contained; self fulfilled and didn’t need anything at all, but because of His great love He gave life to others. According to the book of Colossians the man we know and revere-Jesus Christ (Son of God), who is the image of God, was the first born of all creation and through Him all things were created (Colossians 1:15-17). Jesus Christ was there with the Father and through Him thrones, dominions, angelic creatures, and even mankind were created through Him (Genesis 1:26).
After the creation of mankind Adam and Eve lived a life that was obedient and in subjection to the will of God. Prior to their rebellious act that subsequently brought sin into the world they had a righteous relationship with the Father but after listening to and following the ill advice of one of God’s defiant-fallen angelic creatures-Lucifer (morning star, light bringer), his original name before rebelling against Jehovah (Yahweh) God and being cast out of heaven ( Satan, the devil; Revelation 12:10); they (Adam and Eve) forfeited their righteous relationship with God and suffered the results of being disobedient to a loving God that had given them life and everything they needed to enjoy it to the fullest.
Knowing that because of their (Adam and Eve) wicked and rebellious act, God foreknew that not only had they brought death to themselves physically, but they also had brought about spiritual death as well and passed it on to each and every one of their offspring (that was soon to follow). All of mankind was sentenced to death due to the inherit sin that they would receive from their first parents-Adam and Eve.
Satan had succeeded in destroying God’s hope of having a loving and righteous relationship with His human creation. Satan knew that he and he alone had subsequently undermined God and brought death to God’s first human creation and their offspring as well and because God had said that if they did eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge they would die; He couldn’t go back on his word; if he did, that would make Jehovah God a liar…just like Satan.
Though God was disappointed in Adam and Eve and the rebellious course they had taken; nevertheless, His love for them was still unwavering and He wasn’t giving up on His righteous plan for the whole human race even though death had now entered the world. Because of His love for mankind God immediately made a way for fallen man to be restored (John 3:16). It would be several thousand years later before God would send His only begotten Son (Jesus Christ) into the world to atone for their sins through His death on the cross; it would be a fitting end to what was a tragic start.
Through Adam sin entered into the world and death was passed on to all mankind, but through the second Adam; through Jesus Christ, redemption was made available for all who chose to receive it. Jesus became the “Sacrificial Lamb” who atoned for the sins of the world by shedding His blood on the cross for the remission of sins for all of mankind (Philippians 2:8).
And this He lovingly did for us once and for all when He was crucified on Calvary Hill for the sins of the whole world. He became a propitiatory sacrifice for our sins, the righteous for the unrighteous. Now we have a high priest that sits on the right hand throne of the Father and intercedes on our behalf (Hebrews 7:24-28).
There is no excuse for man to live in sin and shame unless he chooses to do so, because God in His infinite love for mankind sent His only begotten Son (Jesus Christ) to be a sacrifice for everyone who wants to avail themselves of so great a gift. (John 3:16). No longer do we have to suffer and live in bondage to Satan the devil. Jesus has set us free through the work (sacrificial death) He did on the cross.
There is no longer any excuses for anyone to remain in darkness and shutout from the throne of grace. Jesus died for each and every one of us, to bring us into a loving and unified relationship with the Father-our sins have been washed away (Hebrews 10:21-23).
There is no greater gift than the gift of love and Jehovah God lovingly gave us His dear Son (Jesus Christ) who became the “Sacrificial Lamb” that took away the sins of the world. That is why the apostle John could truthfully say that God is love (John 4:8). What greater act of love then for God to give His only begotten Son as a sacrifice for an evil, rebellious, and sinful people that we are? (John 3:16)?
If you have not received Jesus Christ into your life as your Lord and Saviour then please, take a moment and say a prayer asking Jesus Christ into your life as your Lord and Saviour. You must repent of all your sins and if possible name them. With heart felt sorrow, pour out your heart to God in the name of His Son Jesus Christ. Tell Jehovah God how you truly want to change your life and abandon your old lifestyle and sinful habits as well. Ask God to help you do this and He most certainly will.
There is no secret or mystery in receiving salvation through Jesus Christ (Romans 10:9). It is God’s will that all men be saved and bring their lives into subjection to His will. God is faithful and just to forgive us of all our sins if we repent and follow His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus said, ” I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).
Why wait any longer and risk the opportunity not to receive salvation? Why? What possibly could be better than spending eternity with a loving and caring Father and His Son Jesus Christ who unselfishly gave up His life here on earth to die for our sins-not His. To ignore so great a gift that God has given us is the ultimate blasphemous act—except for blaspheming against the Holy Spirit (Matthew 12:32)..
To reject Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour is one of the greatest sins you can sin. To reject Jesus Christ is to accept Satan the devil as your master and chief, it’s as simple as that. If this is what you really want then go ahead and continue down the path that you’re on, but if not, then pray with me.
Holy Father, forgive me of my sins and transgressions that I have sinned against you and you alone. Forgive me for all the wrong I have done and wash me in the precious blood of your dear Son Jesus Christ. Father, I truly confess my sins before you and I ask Jesus to come into my heart and live within me (Romans 10:9). In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
Believe in your heart that God has washed your sins away and be baptized and receive the Holy Spirit. Start studying your bible daily, pray without ceasing, and ask God to give you His “Holy Spirit” to help guide you into an accurate understanding of His ‘Holy Word’ and will.
Ask God to lead you to a place of worship where they worship Him in spirit and truth, as oppose to so many churches where they teach false doctrine and all other manner of erroneous teachings…and He will do just that. Amen. I pray that you will always visit this blog site for more spiritual food and drink.
In closing, may the one true God of heaven and earth watch over you and keep you until we meet again. Amen and Amen.

Note: Please understand that over time new revelations are given to me to pass on to all that take the time to read the articles/sermons that I post. Therefore, I believe it is imperative that I share these revelations to all who will listen.
In this article/sermon as with all my articles/sermons I use the name Jehovah when referring to the one true God, and I use the name Jesus Christ when referring to the Son of God. However, I want to set the record straight now, and correct this error.
The true historic name of the Father is “Yahawah” spoken in the ancient Hebrew tongue; Jehovah is a translation of that name. Jesus Christ is a modern day misinterpretation of the messiah “Yahawashi”. It is important that we learn to call upon the true name of the Father and the Son. Thank you.
